Developing Generic Skills is for learners. The resource comprises a booklet and a CD ROM, and helps learners develop essential generic skills and prepare a personal portfolio of their achievements. There are also labelled dividers for learners to place in their personal portfolio folder.
In the booklet learners will find:
- A description of each generic skill and of their importance to employers and employees
- A self-assessment questionnaire to get learners started on looking at their current skills and how they were acquired
- Worksheets to help learners recognise the skills they have learnt
- Tools for writing a resumé
- Tips on how to present a portfolio when having an interview for a job.
On the CD learners will find:
Full sized copies of all the assessment items, quizzes, examples and reflection sheets.
